Well, spring has sprung and so has this dang virus! What a mess. But I'll make this short today. Probably like a lot of you, I'm home hunkering down (trying to pull weeds when the weather isn't in the way) but mostly sewing and sewing up a storm. I had an emergency bride who's had her whole wedding go kaploooeee right before her eyes! So I'm thinking things could be worse.
Actually, I feel quite lucky because I do have something to do, and my imagination is going nuts. I'm trying to get proficient on Zoom as fast as possible, cause it's the cool tool that you can get on your computer and I can actually teach a class and all of us can talk to each other. So if you want to come on and ask about something or the latest technique that's confusing you, we can do that.
In the meantime, I feel very blessed that there is something to do during this time. I was supposed to teach a hoodie class so I've got all sorts of fun ideas about that since it was cancelled. The local Bernina dealer and I are trying to work out something where she can video me and we will put it up on her site as a way to stay up to date with customers and keep the creative juices flowing. There are lots of variations to the hoodie which can really transform
it into a very versatile and all-round useful garment in your wardrobe that I'm working on.

And stay safe - wash your hands, don't touch your face. If you're out, wash your hands when you come back home - it's better to err on the side of caution that to try and deal with this virus - don't go there, just wash your hands instead!
