It's frankly amazing and shocking to think that
millions of women can have the clothes that
would look better on them, feel more comfy, make
them feel better and be just the styles and
looks they need to fill all their needs for their
style, shape and size.
But they won't have these clothes.
Why?
Because they bought into a movement almost 50
years ago that crapped all over this technique?
Because they think it's more expensive (than
buying clothes made so cheaply that neither the
price nor the clothes can be sustained -that is
they can't last)?
Because they think they aren't worth it cause
that's what their told is all that's available
to them?
Because they think it takes more time?
Because they have believed this for so long,
they can't/won't/don't change?
What if you were told that cooking is the most
mortifying and shameful thing on the worthy/chic
scale? What if you were told that if you
cooked for yourself and your family you would be
doing them harm, at the very least you would be
doing them a disservice? What if you were
told that the only way you could (or should or
ought to) feed yourself was by going out to eat
all the time? What if you were told that
even though the food wasn't all that nutritious
or good for you - it was filled with empty
calories and really wouldn't/won't sustain you
for very long? What if you believed all
this and thought that there was no other way to
feed yourself?
What if you were told that you shouldn't do
laundry ever again? What if you were told
that doing yours and your family's laundry would
be akin to embarrassing them beyond
belief? What if your friends discovered
that you did your own laundry? What would
happen if the only way to do laundry would be to
take it all to different places all over town
over and over trying to find just the right
place to do your laundry, (but that was OK
because every one else was trying to do the same
thing)? What if you knew doing your own
laundry would cost less and take far less time
and destroy way fewer of your clothes, but you
still did it cause you think your friends might
find out or your kids would be embarrassed about
it?
What if you were told that you shouldn't go see
a doctor because if you did that meant that you
were weak and there was something really wrong
with you?
What if you were told that you shouldn't buy a
home because it wasn't worth the money?
What if you were told that you could make a lot
of your own clothes at a fraction of what you're
spending today, and would involve far less of
your time?
What would you do?
