As some of you know, last week I had a client appear, well she called first, at my door with an emergency problem.  The "save the date" card had Saturday only no time.  Naturally she thought it would be at 7pm - the formal hour of weddings.  As a matter of fact the 7 pm hour on Saturday night is the most formal time to have a wedding -- even though the British Royals have theirs as 11 am, which I guess is so they can party all day and give the empire enough time to party.  I don't know.  I'm stretching for that one!

Suddenly the invite comes and it's at 4pm in the afternoon, but formal, but still at 4 which is not ball-gown formal - it's pants and nice dress formal.  So the formal 7pm gown isn't going to work and she's trying to find something that will.  In comes the package from UPS and the jacket is a mess.  She's on the phone with me almost in tear and yes, she can come and I'm sure there's something I can do.

For those of us who fit, and sew, we know how clothes are assembled and that there is usually a way to do this without a lot of consternation.

So if a picture is worth a 1,000 words, a video must be worth 1,000,000 words, and instead of me going on, here's the video of how I changed the client's jacket from a fiasco to a phenomenon, and with her thrilled and excited about going to her wedding.

Enjoy!

To view in browser (so all images can be seen) or past emails or in your browser click here.

NOTE:  Some email clients, software and web sites, do not allow pictures because they can contain nasty worms and viruses - ICK!  So they will by default block you from seeing the pictures. This is a security measure from your email.  I can't change that cause that means I would have to get inside your computer and mess with  your security which you don't want!  So you can do two things:  1.) you can disable your image blocker and that will depend upon your software.  You can Google it to see how to do that for your specific email.  2.)  You can view it in your browser which is equipped to handle the nasties that might be in pictures.  To do that you can click here to enjoy the full email with pictures!!
